Documenting flowers seen in Williamson and nearby counties(Burnet, Travis, etc.) of central Texas.

Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country by Marshall Enquist

This is the first book I used when trying to figure out what wildflowers I was seeing central Texas in 2008. I used to just flip through it looking at the pictures for things I had seen when out hiking. I still carry it with me most days and still recommend it as a great place to start for those wanting to learn about flowers in central Texas.

My main reference for trying to identify plants in the area, although I have been supplementing with material from the Flora of North America on efloras.org. Williamson county is at very southern end of the region covered.
